Diskeeper Corporation and Apacer have announced a new software application that uses Hyperfast Technology to maximize the SSD performance. The companies claim that over time the performance of a SSD can degrade by as much as 80%.
This is due to file fragmentation. The software is designed specifically for SSDs, eliminates performance degrading free space fragmentation, and reduces aggregate erase/write cycles to help expand the life of the drive.
“Apacer values its constant pursuit for quality and innovation. Through the integration of software and hardware capabilities, Apacer can now offer SSD products with higher added-values and come up with solutions that offer extraordinary competitiveness”, said Austin Chen, President of Apacer.
