In anticipation of the September Video game sales, analyst Jesse Divnich from EEDAR says out loud what is on the minds of many consumers. The price for the Sony PS3 is too high, especially now that the Xbox 360 received deep pricing cuts.
Divnich does not see Sony really benefiting from the upcoming Blockbuster games Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet unless the PS3 gets cheaper.
The Blu-ray movie capability is also not as high on consumers lists as Sony might have hoped. So it is down to game play at the moment. And for that the price of the PS3 is too high compared to the competition.
Divnich sees sales of the PS3 for September at around 200,000 units and the Xbox 360 at 320,000 units.
