Aluratek has announced its latest Internet radio jukebox that connects to the PC via USB. The device is very small and looks more like a USB flash drive than an Internet radio device. When plugged into the PC USB port, software launches automatically to allow users to listen to Internet radio.
The stick is capable of tuning in over 13,000 Internet radio stations in over 150 countries. Software also verifies the audio quality of broadcasts and rejects those that are low bandwidth. Programming can be searched from the software in several ways and preferences are saved automatically for future use. The Aluratek Internet Jukebox retails for $39.99 via Amazon.com, Buy.com and more.
“Aluratek was founded on the principle of providing consumers the most compelling electronics and Web-based entertainment experience possible for everyone, regardless of level of tech savvy,” said John Wolikow VP Sales & Marketing at Aluratek. “Our USB Internet Radio Jukebox delivers on this promise, giving the more than 33 million U.S. adults listening to online radio a new, easy to use way to access to the content they want without requiring downloads, subscriptions or separate players to access it. The device gives users a truly on-demand, personalized jukebox right on their computer.”
