Asus officially announced the Asus Eee PC S101. Unlike the report we filed in August the S101 still carries the Eee PC brand. Back then Asus made it look like they were going to launch the S101 outside of the Eee PC line.
Asus aims the S101 netbook at fashion forward consumers. The Asus Eee PC S101 features a stylish new design and comes in Brown, Champagne, or Graphite colors.
On the technical side the Asus Eee PC S101 features include 10.2 inch LED backlit screen with WSVGA resolution, ATOM CPU, 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.0, 1GB RAM, 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB SSD options, 20GB online storage, 0.3MP camera, multi-touch touchpad, and 4-in-1 flash card reader.

Measurements of the S101 are 264 mm (w) x 180.5 mm (d) x 18 ~ 25 mm (h) and the weight is 1kg.
The Eee PC S101 is available with either Microsoft Windows XP or GNU Linux. No word on pricing or shipping dates is available yet.
