The WSJ reports that Google and Yahoo are in talks with the Justice Department to avoid antitrust challenges to their advertising agreement, which originated during the Microsoft Yahoo takeover ordeal back in June.
The settlement negotiations are at an early stage and it is not clear yet if it will resolve the Departments objections.
