Sony is playing the same game as with the Sony DSC-T1 by announcing a black version of the DSC-T3 in Japan only.

The Sony DSC-T3 is selling currently as low as $469.99. Compare Prices now!
This time the new Sony DSC-T3 was introduced first in the USA.
Today Sony announced the DSC-T3, the DSC-L1 and the DSC-V3. In Japan the Sony DSC-T3 will be available in black and silver. The DSC-T3 will go mid October on Sale in Japan. Same time as in the USA. Last time around the DSC-T1 was available earlier than in the USA.
The Sony DSC-T3 is faster and thinner than the DSC-T1. Read the Sony DSC-T3 specification for more technical details.
