Toshiba Announces New Notebooks

Toshiba has announced several new notebook computers today. The first is a new 3-pound ultraportable for $1399 that is only 1.18-inches thick and offers 7.5 hours of battery life. The machine uses Intel Centrino 2 technology. The machine is called the Portege A600 and features a LED backlit display.
Toshiba also launched the Tecra R10 retailing for $1549 with a total weight of 4.4 pounds. The R10 features NVIDIA Quadro graphics and Centrino 2 technology. The Portege R600 is a tiny ultraportable system weighing 2.4 pounds and only 0.77-inches thick. The R600 starts at $2099 has available SSD storage and LED backlit display.
The latest tablet PC out of Toshiba is the Portege M750 that features a 12.1-inch LED and the ability to recognize input with a pen or finger. Pricing starts at $1699 with an integrated optical drive and more.
