Sony announced the new PSP firmware 5.00 on Monday. The major new feature in firmware 5.00 enables you to directly download games via Wi-fi from the Playstation store onto your PSP. If you want to see how this works you can watch on the Sony Playstation blog.

The new PSP firmware 5.00 should be available on the Playstation network now.
