Iomega has announced a new network storage solution for small business and home users. The device is called the StorCenter ix2 and it offers users up to 2TB of storage space. Features of the drive include storage and information management features, password protection, sharing software and wireless Bluetooth connectivity.

The storage device starts at a retail price of $299.99 for 1TB of storage and a 2TB version retails for $479.99. Two USB ports are built into the device to allow for printer sharing and direct uploading via a USB drive. External storage drives can also be added to increase capacity as needed.
