IMOVIO iKIT tiny Linux Notebook unveiled

IMOVIO unveiled with the iKIT a tiny Linux computer that has the size of a cell phone.
The iKIT feature highlights include 2.8 inch color QVGA screen, Marvell PXA270 312MHz CPU, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM (User data : 12MB, User media files : 23MB), .3MP camera and microSD slot.
Measurements of the iKIT are 95 mm (L) x 65 mm (W) x 15.5 mm (H) and the weight is 113g.
IMOVIO loaded the iKIT with all kinds of communications and media software. It runs Linux, so there is no limit to applications.
The release of the iKit is planned for some time in Q1 2009. The MSRP is supposed to be 130 Euro (~170). The company also plans to release a touch screen iKit in 2009.

Back at the CES 2008 motherboard on a chip and other tiny hardware solutions promised us Linux computers as tiny as keychain hangers. But as always, gadget fans need to have a lot of patience and endure a lot of pain waiting for cool gadgets to actually become available for purchase. Take for instance the LimePC, Where is it? Almost one year has passed since CES 2008.
