Dell has announced that they have teamed up with CinemaNow to provide buyers with computers featuring pre-installed digital movies. Dell says that the new partnership provides an easy and economical way to jump-start a digital library on a PC.
The Dell movie bundles will start at $25 and are selected by movie studios. Films available for pre-load include the Spider Man trilogy, the Matrix trilogy, The Fast and the Furious collection as well as a children's bundle, Romantic Comedy bundle, and a Comedy Bundle. Dell says that the movie bundles will be refreshed and updated regularly.
All the pre-loaded films use Windows Media DRM allowing them to play on Windows Media electronic devices. Dell says that customers can watch the movies on other common wireless devices around the home as well.
