Hong Kong based Gadget Store Fancylogic sent us another Anti-Stress Gadget called Flip Flap. We reviewed a while ago the Nihohon.
The Flip Flap is a cute looking Solar powered Flower made by Japanese Toy Company Tomy. Watching the flower flap its leaves is supposed to make you calm. And it actually does make me stare at it for minutes watching the leaves go up and down.
On the packaging it says: "Please grow your Flip Flap in your mind and bloom your own special flower" - ahhh, I am already relaxing while writing this sentence.

The Flip Flap has three kinds of leave flapping: Synchronous, left and right in turns and seesaw. The packaging and manual has on several location the fun reminder not to water this flower. The solar panel on top provides the power for the Flip Flap to move its leaves. It flaps faster and stronger under bright light. It already works under a normal ceiling lamp. A little card holder can be placed in the flower to carry business cards or little signs. The Tomy Flip Flap comes in six friendly colors and a great see through plastic packaging. This Gadget is very well made and is either a fun present or a nice maintainance free flower for your cubicle desk. Fancylogic sells the Flip Flap Desk Gadget for $29.50.
