AT&T Wireless launches the Pantech Slate, which is according to Pantech the World’s Thinnest QWERTY Keyboard handset.
The Slate measures less than 10mm in thickness. The texting phone has raised and tactile buttons, a colorful and easy-to-read screen, and a rubberized back panel for comfort gripping.

Other features of the Pantech Slate include 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, Multimedia functionality including support of AT&T’s MEdia Net and custom content and immediate and simple access to a range of messaging services, including text messaging, multimedia messaging, instant messaging, and email. The Slate is available for $49.99 after a two-year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. Via the AT&T site.
