Sony announced the launch of Resistance 2 this week and the game is sure to be one of the hottest titles for the PS3 this holiday season. The game is the fourth PS3 exclusive title developed by Insomniac Games. The game offers eight player, class based online play and 60-player online multiplayer combat.

The game takes place across much of the country from the shores of San Francisco to downtown Chicago in an alternate reality of America in 1953. Players fight for the survival of humankind against the Chimera.
