Oakley and Surfline have teamed up to create the first free iPhone application for the surf community around the world. The application provides free worldwide mobile access to surf reports from Surfline. The application will provide free and continually updated information on the surf conditions at spots around the world.
The application also provides information on surf and weather conditions and information on the surf community including news, photos, and videos. A surf forecast for the next three days is included as well. Favorite beaches and zip codes can be bookmarked. Directions to beaches are integrated via a built-in map link.
"Surfline is excited to launch the first mobile iPhone surf report application with Oakley who shares our passion for surfing and creating the best products available in the marketplace," said Brian J. Mezger, director of technology, Surfline.Via Surfline
