Trip Chowdhry an analyst covering Silicon Valley tech has mentioned in his current trend and gossip report that Apple is supposed to bring the iPhone to Costco for a new low price of $149.
The rumor says that this new low price point would be available in January 2009.
As reported the Apple iPhone is already the bestselling mobile phone in the US. As long as the prices for the BlackBerry Storm and the T-Mobile G1 are not coming down I do not see a reason for Apple and AT&T to cut prices for the iPhone.
