As reported earlier today Verizon has officially announced that the BlackBerry Storm is launching on November 21st for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The final press-release just arrived in our mailbox and it is very short and just states price and that the Storm will be available in stores and online starting November 21st.
Given the attention our BlackBerry Storm coverage got over the last week the demand for this touch-screen phone is very high.
Now that the price is the same as for the iPhone 3G there will be no holding back for BlackBerry fans to get their hands on one. Verizon Wireless did not specify in their announcement if they will offer pre-order possibility for the Storm.
I would check your local Verizon store to see if you can reserve a Storm today. Depending on how well Verizon and RIM calculated the supply for the Storm you might not get one on launch day.
