Mitsubishi today announced the release of the XD95U, its new 3.3-pound pico-portable projector for presenters on the go. Its estimated 3000-hour lamp life (in low mode) and filter-free design provide a low total cost of ownership, making it an economical choice.
Why this 3.3 pound is dubbed "pico-portable" is not clear to me. Pico is associated with the mobile phone sized or smaller projector technology.
Features of the Mitsubishi XD95U include 2,200 Ansi lumens brightness, quick-cooling instant shut-down feature, XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution, and color wall support.
The suggested retail price of Mitsubishi’s XD95U is $1,495. The projector will be available this month through authorized Mitsubishi dealers comes with Mitsubishi’s three-year limited warranty on parts and labor a 90-day limited warranty on the lamp.
