Yesterday when we reported about the new PS2 I asked I4U readers why the world needs a thinner and smaller Playstation 2. Granted there is the built-in network adapter but what else?
Apparently there are great benefits to people who put game consoles in cars. Not only the MTV mechanics in the Pimp my Ride show are installing Sony Playstations in cars, there seem to be many more people out there doing this. Here is for instance a how-to guide on Car Audio Mag. See also photo below. A smaller PS2 is definitly easier to install in a car. (thanks to The Voung and Sajid F.)
Another topic I received was about issues around heat dissipation and fan problems the current PS2 supposedly has. The new PS2 might be cured of that issue (thanks Andrew H.)
