LG and Alltel have announced a new exclusive handset called the Swift is now available to Alltel customers. The handset has a 1.3MP camera that can capture video and still shots. Storage is to microSD cards up to 8GB and the handset provides email access. The Swift is a music phone with the ability to play tracks saved on the handset.

Other features include GPS, TV, text, and picture messaging, and more. The phone measures 3.66" x 1.92" x 0.79" and weighs 3 ounces. Talk time is up to 180 minutes and standby time is up to 140 hours. Alltel is offering the handset for $49.99 after rebates and discounts.
