French Car manufacturer Peugeot shows a Fuel Cell powered Quad called Quark at the Paris Car Show 2004.
The Peugeot Quark is using electrical power provided by its batteries and the fuel cell. The power is transmitted to four independent electrical motors located in each of the vehicle’s wheels.
The Quark features ABS, ESP, cornering assistance and more.
The Fuel Cell Vehicle also has a recuperatory braking system. This allows recuperation of energy in deceleration when the electric motor brakes, in order to reduce the vehicle’s overall consumption.
the Quark has an air-cooled battery and a hydrogen store in a single cylinder.
Besides the fuel cell the concept vehicle features also the future in vehicle gadgetery. The Quark has a removable communications device that combines antitheft, starter, navigation by satellite, Bluetooth telephone, MP3 player, electronic diary and more.
