Asus unveiled officially the touchscreen all-in-one PC Asus Eee Top yesterday in Asia. The details of the 15 inch Asus Eee Top ET1602 and ET1603 PCs have been published already before.
Digitimes reports today that Asus is outsourcing the Eee Top production to Quanta. Additionally the Eee Top is set to ship first in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the UK. In 2009 Asus is also adding larger screen models with 20- and 22-inch Asus Eee Top PCs.
Since the year is almost over a launch of the Asus Eee Top is still unlikely to happen in the US this Holiday based on the information above. It looks like 2009 will be the year of the Atom based All-in-One Touchscreen PCs. MSI already unveiled their Neton PCs this week. Digitimes says that Acer and Lenovo will also offer All-in-One Touchscreen PCs. I predict we will see tons of them at the CES 2009.
The Eee Top has already appeared on a UK shop back several weeks.
