We already put our finger on the Walmart $128 Blu-ray Player Black Friday Deal. Today I have a look at the Sharp Aquos LC42D64U 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV that Amazon.com offers today in their Black Fri-DAILY Deals for $999.98 to see if it really is a great deal.

The Sharp Aquos LC42D64U 42 Inch 1080p LCD HDTV features include 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness, 4ms response time, built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners, 3 HDMI (version 1.3) inputs, a PC input and 2 HD component video inputs. The LC42D64U launched in 2007, it is not a 2008 model.
Looking at the specifications it is an decent 1080p LCD HDTV, but nothing special. I would not want to pay more than $1,000 for it even if it is a Sharp.
I could not find a better deal in Price Comparison engines as only a few shops advertise this TV. I also checked Best Buy and Walmart, but they do not carry this Sharp Aquos HDTV anymore.

This Amazon Black Friday deal is decent but not overwhelming. If you buy it you make nothing wrong either.
