Nokia announced that their first touchscreen mobile phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, is shipping in selected markets.
Nokia announced the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in early October. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be among the first devices to support Nokia's Comes With Music service that gives users one year of unlimited access to the entire Nokia Music Store catalogue. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 640x360px resolution and introduces the new Nokia Bar user interface concept.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, GPS, S60 OS, speaker and 3.5mm jack. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is rather thick.

Overall the first Nokia touch-screen phone is not up to compete with the iPhone. Nokia is also not trying to do that. It is a mainstream music phone with a touchscreen that will appeal to some if the carrier pricing for the phone is low enough.
The selected markets where the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is not including the US, rather Russia, Spain, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Finland, among others.
