One of the bestselling netbooks is on sale today on Amazon.com for $379. The Acer Aspire One running Windows XP and configured with 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 6 cell battery and 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU is available at the $379 price in black and in white.
The Acer Inspire One led the Amazon netbook sale charts for the longest time and now the Asus Eee PC 900 and Asus Eee PC 900HA have jumped ahead of it.
The reason for the Eee PC to be back on top is the new low pricing. I raised the issue of the high Asus pricing for the 2nd generation netbooks several times in the past. Now the pricing is where it should be for netbooks. The Assu Eee PC 900HA sells for only $329.99 on Amazon.com.
