MSI Announces EX300 Notebook

MSI has announced another new notebook for the US market called the EX300. The rig offers a 13.3-inch widescreen display and weighs 4.5 pounds including an 8-cell battery. The brain of the notebook is an Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile P7350 processor coupled with an Intel PM45 + ICH9-M Express chipset.
Graphics are via ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 with 256MB of dedicated DDR3 VRAM. Other features of the notebook include 802.11a/g/n networking, Bluetooth, card reader, HDMI out, e-SATA port, and more. Up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM is supported.
Storage is a 250GB HDD and the EX300 has an integrated DVD burner. The operating system for the machine is Windows Vista Home Premium and the keyboard has 87 keys. A webcam is integrated into the display bezel and a fingerprint reader for security is featured. The notebook will retail for $999 and is available online at Amazon, Buy.com and other places.
