One thing most all gadgets and electronics have in common is the need for batteries. Improvements in battery technology mean that our gadgets like digital cameras and game systems can have a longer run time. Energizer has announced that it will unveil a new type of battery at CES this year.
CES starts in early January and we will be there to cover the show. The new battery is the Energizer Zinc Air Prismatic and will be offered to OEMs. Energizer says that the batteries will offer higher energy densities and thin form factors.
Runtime is promised to be three times as long with the new Energizer battery tech when compared to current alkaline or lithium ion batteries. The thinner battery will make for smaller gadgets that weigh less as well.< p>Via Energizer
