Last week we already got our hands on the new Asus Eee PC 1002HA and published a review of the new redesigned Asus Eee PC 1002HA netbook. Now Asus also published an official press-release of this new elegant netbook and NewEgg and Amazon.com are shipping the 1002HA now.
The 1.2kg light and 1 inch thin 1002HA features a new chassis adorned with a brushed aluminum LCD cover and palm rest.

Features of the Asus Eee PC 1002HA include 10 inch screen, Intel Atom N270 CPU, 4200mAh, up to 4.15 hours, 1.3MP camera, 1GB RAM (upgrade to 2GB possible), up to 160GB HDD, Wi-fi and Bluetooth. The Asus Eee PC 1002HA sells for $499.99 and is shipping now from NewEgg and Amazon.com.
