The vast majority of mice on the market share a very similar design when you look at them, with two buttons and even very similar shapes. A new mouse from CyberESport has been unveiled called the Orbita mouse that has a different design. The mouse looks like a red blood cell in shape to anyone who paid attention in college biology class. Think hockey puck with the center lower than the sides and you have an idea what it looks like.
The biggest claim to fame for the mouse is its scroll capability where you actually rotate the mouse rather than a wheel. By turning the mouse clockwise you can scroll down a page at whatever speed you desire by turning faster or slower. The wireless mouse uses a cadmium nicol battery for long life.
Compatibility is with both Mac and Windows computers. According to the maker of the mouse, its design helps to reduce repetitive strain injuries. Hard specifications on the mouse like sensitivity and wireless range aren’t offered. The mouse will be available in January for $98.50.
