Apparently Apple is going to offer free content on iTunes for new iPod owners who got an "empty" iPod as a gift. The promotion was spotted in France on a retailers site according to Pocket-lint.
Apple is supposed to offer free content each day in iTunes from December 26th to January 6th.
Apparently the free content includes tracks/videos of Kylie Minogue and High School Musical.
I assume Apple is also going to offer the same free iTunes content promotion in the United States. That would be a cool move, but they should start making it official if they want it to also have some sales impact.
Get iPods on the Apple Store.
