Short Take: I-Dog Dance
Topic: Holiday Gift Guide

This year one of those gifts is the I-Dog Dance. The device is an MP3 speaker that is designed to look like a little dog. You can get I-Dog in white or black colors and like any good pooch, he is trained to obey your commands.
Tell I-Dog to dance and he busts a move, tell him to tap paw and he taps his little paw. The face has several LED lights that allow you to tell what sort of mood the dog is in. His mood is affected by how often he is interacted with and how much music you feed him. You can connect most digital music players directly to the dog.
The face also hides touch sensitive controls that allow you to get the dog to interact with users and the volume controls are on the face as well. If you need to mute the playback, pushing the tail does this quickly and easily. Power for the little device comes from AA's and you will probably need a fresh set right away, the one inside the device didn’t last long but a new set of quality batteries were good for hours of play.
My kids really like the I-Dog dance and my 4-year-old daughter liked just watching the dog dance. Older kids can interact with it like other robot pets on the market to keep it happy. Overall, the little I-Dog is a cool toy that would make a great accessory if your kid is getting their first MP3 player this Christmas.
Verdict: Great gift idea that will appeal to kids, Tweens and Teens
