I have written many times about the projectors that Mitsubishi offers to consumers. The firm announced recently that it will be offering significant rebates on some of its more popular projectors just in time for consumers to add them to their home theater before the big game.

The entry-level 720p HD projector called the HC1600 has a $100 mail-in rebate and includes a free lamp that is valued at $495. The HC5500 has a rebate of $500 making it sell for $1495. The projector offers 10000:1 contrast ratio and is one of the quietest projectors in the world.

Mitsubishi is offering a $200 mail-in rebate on the HC6500 projector bringing its MSRP to $2295. The Super Bowl is right around the corner and home theater fans wanting a massive screen that is affordable need to look into projectors.
