LG Electronics has announced that its network entertainment options on its Network Blu-ray Disc players have been expanded with options from CinemaNow and YouTube. The new content sources will be available on Network Blu-ray players in the first half of 2009.
CinemaNow offers movies, TV shows, and videos to users online and YouTube is familiar to most that use the Internet. LG says that it will launch new network video players next week at CES 2009. CinemaNow offers over 14,000 titles to choose from, major studios and small studios alike.
The two new services will join Netflix already offered by LG. Internet connected devices will be big at CES 2009 this year. We will see many new TVs get connectivity for things like the Yahoo Widget channel and more.
