The Holiday Shopping Season is over and we go
straight into the exciting CES and Macworld "Season". CES News is
already flowing in a big way wetting our appetite for new gadgets and
innovations. LG for instance will show a
480Hz HDTV and a
3G HSDPA touchscreen
wristphone.
Touchscreen Netbooks will rise at CES, and we also came up with
these CES 2009
predictions.
Microsoft will hail Windows 7 at their traditional

Today it is still common for HDTVs to have 60Hz refresh rates, and 120Hz is still not very common. I already mentioned today that I expect to see many 240Hz sets at the show, but LG is even doubling that number. |

Phone debuts at CES 2009 LG apparently continued to further develop the watch phone concept they showed at the CES 2008. At the CES 2009 LG unveils with the LG-GD910 the world's first 3G touchscreen watch phone. The LG-GD910 is not just 3G it actually supports HSDPA with 7.2Mbps download speeds. On the watch face is a video camera to use the LG-GD910 for video conferencing or video capture. |
