Nextar will debut the Nextar Z10 micro projector and PS-001 companion projection screen at the CES 2009.
The Nextar Z10 micro projector will display images up to 20 inches in 4:3 aspect ratio with a 640x480 resolution. This small projector uses an LED light source with a life expectancy of 30,000 hours. It accepts Micro SD cards, comes equipped with a built-in speaker, and includes the ability to play MP4 files.
The palm-size Nextar Z10 projector measures 4.13” x 2.32” x 1.0” and weighs approximately one pound. The PS-001 screen measures 18.89” x 1.57” x 15.7” opened and 18.9” x 1.57” x 1.2” folded. It weighs approximately 1.3 pounds.

The Z10 micro projector and screen will be available Q1 2009 at leading retailers nationwide. SRP for the micro projector is $299.99 and for the portable screen is $39.99.
It is a nice idea from Nextar to offer a small projection screen to go with a Pico LCOS powered mini projector.
