Best Buy announced today that it is the first retailer to offer refreshed Apple iPhone 3G phones at store locations nationwide.
Beginning today, 350 Best Buy Mobile stores are selling the refurbished iPhone 3G at $149 for the 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB model, both require a two-year service contract. New iPhone 3Gs currently retail for $199 (8G) and $299 (16G) at Best Buy Mobile.
Best Buy Mobile customers also are entitled to a Complimentary Walk Out Working and One year Best Buy warranty on the phone and upgrades to a refreshed iPhone 3G by any current iPhone customers.
I am not a fan of refurbished gear especially if you only save $50 compared of getting a brand spanking new one.
