As predicted netbook vendors are showing new touchscreen netbooks at the CES 2009. What I did not predict was that Asus is not ready with their touchscreen netbook. Asus unveiled the Asus Eee PC T91 convertible tablet Asus Eee netbook, but says it is still a prototype and no production is planned yet - Hello?

The Asus Eee PC T91 has an 8.9 inch swivel touchscreen. An Asus Eee PC T101 model would have a 10.1 inch swivel touchscreen. Asus showed the T91 at their CES 2009 press-conference, which we did not have time to attend personally. There is also no official press-release from Asus yet on the new generation of touchscreen Asus Eee PC netbooks.
