Microsoft announces Windows 7 Beta Download to start this Week in CES Keynote

If you did not catch Steve Ballmer doing his Microsoft CES 2009 keynote, youd did not miss anything especially if you have read the leaked Microsoft keynote agenda.
As expected Steve Ballmer announced the beta availability of the Windows 7 operating system as well as the availability of the latest version of the Windows Live.

The Windows 7 beta can be downloaded today by MSDN, TechBeta and TechNet customers. If you are not a developer you can download the Windows 7 beta beginning January 9th on this site.
Windows Live, the third leg of the Windows experience, has been bolstered with the newly released Windows Live Essentials, which includes popular services such as the PC Magazine Editor’s Choice award-winning Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Writer and Windows Live Mail.
Microsoft highlighted also Windows Mobile, but did not announce a new OS.
