Creative Zii has circulated around the web for the past few days, now we officially know what Zii is. ZiiLABS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative announced the first OEM platforms based on the new ZMS-05 Media-Rich System-On-Chip (SoC) at the CES 2009.
"We are excited to leverage our 25 years of R&D from 3DLABS and Creative to shape the future of computing in collaboration with our OEM partners, as they unveil innovative new products based upon the Zii Platform,” said Hock Leow, President of ZiiLABS.
“The integrated ZMS-05 media-rich processor and middleware ushers in the new era of StemCell Computing where we will bring the incredible benefits of nano-sized super computing right into our daily lives.” Creative did not reveal any devices yet that are based on Zii. I still hope they will do that at the CES 2009.
