CES 2009 had its official first day yesterday with the show floor open.
Yesterday brought some hot announcements again that we highlight here.
Overall though the amount of exciting products exhibited at the CES 2009 show floors seem scarce. At least this is what our man at the CES war front tells us in his behind the Scene report. It looks like the bad economy is throwing its shadows onto the consumer electronics industry. Lots of the new products shown are actually just prototypes and not going to hit the market in 2009.
Lets look at the bright side though. Palm unveiled the new Palm Pre and a very cool Linux based webOS.
Thin LED HDTVs rule the CES 2009 show floor. Sony unveiled the DSC-G3 Wifi camera with web browser. And yes there are actually Booth Babes at the CES 2009.
