InFocus has announced a new projector aimed at colleges and other large venue uses. The projector is called the IN5108 and offers up impressive features that are needed for use in large areas. The native resolution of the projector is 1400 x 1050.

Four different lens options are offered to customize the projector to the needs of the venue. Outputs include HDMI 1.3 and more. The projector offers 4000 lumens of brightness and has integrated RS232 connectivity for legacy control systems.

The projector is slated for availability sometime this month and will retail for $5499 through InFocus partners. Horizontal and vertical lens shift is offered with the projector for customization to the venue.
