Slacker has launched a free application for the iPhone that allows iPhone users to personalize listening with 100 different expert-programmed Slacker stations. The stations offer over 10,000 artists and the ability to design custom stations for the listener.
Slacker says that this is the first time that owners of the iPhone or iPod touch have been able to use the Slacker Radio service. The App works with the free Slacker Basic Radio service as well as Slacker Radio Plus and Slacker Premium Radio.
Features of the iPhone App include a free music library with millions of songs, stereo playback from any wireless connection, over 100 pro genre stations, custom stations, and the ability to pause and skip songs as well as being able to ban songs from artists you don’t like.
