Inauguration Day is fast approaching and the first black U.S. President Barack Obama will replace George W. Bush as President of our country. Fans of Obama that want to follow the Inauguration Day festivities as history is made may want to jump onto the DirecTV bandwagon.
DirecTV announced today that it would be offering a special channel just for those wanting to watch the historic Inauguration of Obama as the 44th U.S. president. The satellite service will offer eight different channels on one screen.
The channel is called the Inauguration Mix and will offer the best live coverage of the event from leading broadcast and cable news channels. A special ticker will also run at the bottom of the screen to update viewers on other aspects of the day. The channel coverage will run from 10 a.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET on DirecTV channels 102 and 352, one of which is in HD.
