Acer has announced a pair of new LCDs aimed at the business user that have ergonomic features. The LCDs carry the wonderfully horrible names B233HU bmidhz and the B273HU bmidhz. The difference in the two is mostly screen size with the first carrying a 23-inch screen size and the second offering 27-inches of space.
Both the LCDs have stands that tilt, swivel, and adjust for angle. The tilt function has 15-degrees of up movement and 5-degrees of down. The stand swivels 35 degrees to the right and left with height adjustment up to 11cm.
Both offer an odd 2048 x 1152 resolution and have 62Hz refresh rates. Response time is 5ms and max contrast ratio is 40000:1 with brightness of 300CD/M2 for the smaller and 400CD/M2 for the larger display. The 23-inch screen will retail for $289 with the 27-inch going for $409.
