Big spaces that are brightly lit can be a challenge for many projectors. Sanyo has a new projector that is perfect for this type of area and is being called the industry's brightest projector. Dual lamps inside the projector provide up to 10,000 lumens of light.
The contrast ration offered by the projector is 3000:1 and it uses a three-mirror system for uniform light output. Aspect ratio for the projector is 4:3 and the optics use Durable Inorganic Optical System meaning that they are treated for heat and UV resistance.
Sanyo says the massive projector is compatible with WUXGA, UXGA, SXGA+, SXGA, WXGA, XGA, SVGA, VGA, and MAC computers. Inputs include RGB (D-Sub-15), Pb/Cb, Pr/Cr (BNCx5) and S-Video. Also available are a USB port and a RS-232 communications port. The projector is set to ship this month at $16,995.
