I-O DATA announces a new LinkPlayer, AVLP2/DVDLA, in the USA.

The I-O Data Linkplayer enables users to watch DivX and WMA videos via a network connected PC on the TV in the living room. It also is a DVD player. The AVeL Linkplayer 2 also supports High Definition resolution (Video Up to 1080i / Photo Up to 2048x1532).

The first shipment of LinkPlayer will be in the middle of November in the USA. The MSRP will be $249.00. More details on I-O Data's product page.

I think the D-Link DSM-320 wireless media player is the better choice here, as it already comes with wireless connectivity. It already sells on Amazon.com for $173.95.
