SEC to Investigate Apple Over Jobs' Health

I don’t think that there is another technology firm who is more affected by the health and appearance of its CEO than Apple. Apple sent shockwaves through the technology and investment community when it announced that Jobs was stepping down as CEO of the company temporarily due to health reasons.
Previously Apple had maintained that Jobs' health was not an issue and that he was with the technology firm for the long haul. Now the SECD is investigating whether or not Apple did anything illegal when it denied Jobs was ill, only to recant and say he was ill later.
The inquiry isn't official yet according to Boy Genius Report, but a source close to Bloomberg says that it will happen soon. Some legal experts think that Apple is in the clear here because all it had when the denial that Jobs was ill was issued was a vague diagnosis that was later confirmed.
