When I was a kid, I thought all of the record scratching that the rappers did on MTV was pretty cool. I even tried it a bit on my dad's old turntable and managed to do nothing but scratch up dads Earth, Wind, & Fire album while simultaneously being grounded.
Pioneer has announced a new display for its pro DJ gear that allows DJs, or those who want to be DJs to get their hands on the gear. The display is called the Pro DJ Retail Experience and it has the full line of Pioneer Pro DJ products inside from mixers to CD and turntables.
If you have always wanted to be the dude in the background of the Run DMC videos scratching away, this is your chance to get your hands on some of the gear DJs use without having to get out your wallet. I am sure this type of equipment doesn’t come cheap. Exactly what type of store the demo will be set up in is not clear.
