Aricent announced that its technology is behind the new one click user interface on Sprint mobile phones. The goal of the new interface is to provide mobile users an interface that gets them instant access to the information and entertainment they want on their device.
Aricent says that its technology and know how has allowed Sprint to bring the new interface to market in only ten months. The interface uses a customizable carousel design to allow users to customize the phone to offer one-touch access to the things used most on the device.
One-touch access to things like text messages, email, navigation, web, Google, music and more is offered through the interface. Users can also customize where the icons for the features go on the carousel. The new One Click interface will be available on the Samsung Rant, Samsung Highnote, LG lotus, and Sanyo Eclipse handsets.
