It wasn't too long ago that Nikon made news with its touchscreen camera. Panasonic has now announced its own touchscreen camera called the FX580. The touchscreen is 3-inches and allows alignment of shots and video playback.
Features include 5x optical zoom, 12.1-megapixel resolution and more. The camera features touchscreen navigation and a cursor key for control. Other features include panorama assist, 10 shot per second burst speed, face recognition, optical image stabilization, intelligent ISO and more.
Images are stored to SD and SDHC cards and Panasonic bundles software for editing photos. The touchscreen allows users to adjust settings by sliding a finger and move images on screen for viewing. The FX580 will launch in April for $399.95.
